Status

What we hold, when we last fetched it, what we are waiting on, and what we have deliberately decided not to use. A data site that is quiet about its own freshness is asking to be trusted on the one thing that ought to be checkable.

7 reorganisations are published as their own table, covering 3,740 of the 3,816 predecessor-to-successor relationships we hold. The remaining 20 reorganisations are smaller than the publication threshold and are listed in full on the index rather than given a page each — a page with four rows on it and a wall of boilerplate helps nobody and is exactly how a data site turns into filler.

Known limits of what we hold

These are stated on the pages they affect as well as here.

Loaded but not yet published

The company insolvency record-level series is in the pipeline — 218,696 records from 2016 to the present, under the Open Government Licence — and is not yet rendered as pages. It will appear here when it is, not before.

Not in use, and why

Innovate UK participant data would let us publish something genuinely new. It is not in use. The publication page states no licence at all; the only licence term reachable from it is a non-commercial Creative Commons term, which would not permit this site. We have asked the publisher to confirm which applies. Until they do, the data stays out — a site whose whole proposition is provenance cannot build its most interesting figure on a licence it has not read.
